I had the pleasure of capturing Cassidy’s Rosedown Plantation bridal portraits in St. Francisville, Louisiana. The Rosedown Plantation is a breathtaking and historic landmark! It provided a stunning backdrop for the bride-to-be’s photos, adding a touch of timeless elegance to the already beautiful bride.

Bridal portrait sessions are one of my favorite types of sessions, as they offer a chance to capture the bride in her wedding gown in a relaxed, low-stress environment. Bridal sessions also provide an opportunity run through the big day! You can practice hair and makeup and truly revel in the moment. Besides, who wants to only wear their dress once? The bride is also able to let her personality shine, show off all the intricate details of her dress, and capture any must-have images, like the famous floating veil shot! Cassidy’s session was no exception – she radiated confidence and beauty, and the joy on her face was infectious.

Rosedown Plantation Bridal Portraits

As we moved around the scenic plantation grounds, we found a variety of picturesque locations that perfectly complemented Cassidy’s dress. From the majestic oak trees to the stunning gardens, each shot captured a different aspect of the bride’s beauty and showcased the stunning landscape of the location.

Cassidy’s bridal session was even more special with the presence of her mother, sister, and grandmother. They joined us for the session, adding to the already joyous atmosphere. Their love and support was evident as Cassidy prepares for her upcoming wedding day. Cassidy’s fiancé also joined in the session towards the end for a few engagement portraits. However, we made sure Cassidy’s dress was put away so as to not give away the surprise!

Cassidy’s session is a true testament to the importance of bridal portraits. They not only allow the bride to show off her dress and accessories, but also provide a chance to capture beautiful memories with loved ones.
