I am so glad wedding season is back! I know it has been stressful for so many brides making arrangements while trying to figure out how to do things under our new norm of Covid, but the joy I see ever time I talk to a couple about their wedding day lately, has made me so so happy for them!

Lainey and Brandon were so much fun last weekend! Lainey is also a teacher so it was so nice to bond over the current struggles for a minute. If you don’t know already….teachers have it a ‘little’ rough this year (I mean, don’t we all?). Between learning a million new programs, trying to keep our rooms sanitized and socially distanced, it’s been a struggle. Seriously, hug a teacher…..if they’re ok with getting that close. 🙂

 

We met downtown near the Capitol on a gorgeous overcast day (my favorite for photoshoots). I LOVE this spot because there are so many location options around that are beautiful! I also love when we can fall into a rhythm quickly while capturing multiple locations and these two did not disappoint! They were naturals in front of the camera and it was so clear to see how much they love each other. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in less than a month! (I almost want to say I can’t believe it’s almost October- but let’s be honest, aren’t we are patiently waiting for 2020 to be over? lol)
