We set up a couple’s session a few months ago and I was absolutely THRILLED when Elias messaged me the day before our session to let me know he was going to propose! A few messages back and forth had us all set up!

The day of our shoot I was so nervous so I can only imagine how Elias must have felt. He had not only planned a proposal but also let Madison’s family in on the secret so they could hide out and watch! I met her family in downtown Baton Rouge to show them the area before meeting up with Madison and Elias.

Once Madison and Elias arrived I drove them to the park area close to the State Capital in downtown Baton Rouge. We walked through a few spots and did a handful of poses until I couldn’t stand the anticipation anymore! I had Elias whisper something sweet into Madison’s ear (our secret code to let him know I was ready!) and he took charge from there! Madison was so surprised and excited but the look on her face when she saw her family running to congratulate her was priceless! Her SEVEN siblings had made it to see these sweet once in a lifetime minutes. I loved seeing the bond between them and how happy they were for their sister 🙂
